Liwonde National Park, Liwonde Wildlife Reserve and the Mvuu Lodge are situated on the banks of a lagoon just off the Shire River on the western boundary of the Liwonde National Park near the Mozambique border. The Shire River is the outlet of Lake Malawi and flows into Zambezi.

The online magazine TripSavvy has published  a great article about Malawi and traveling. They have used one of my Sable antelope images from the Liwonde National Park where I have visited the Mvuu Lodge. Also I have visited the Lake Malawi and Mumbo island. Malawi is a very small and nice country with lovely people.
