Civil rights activist Bärbel Bohley has passed away
As so often in Germany history, heroes die without society taking serious notice. Very sad, as society could do with many more Bärbel Bohleys.
As a refugee from the GDR she remains for me an emblem for justice, courage and activism.
I also remember her artistic creations!
