Opera takes over FastMail.fm
The Norwegian company Opera Software ASA is taking over the Australian FastMail.fm. I have been using the www.Opera.com browser for years, and manage all my email with www.FastMail.fm and www.Spamarrest.com. Opera and FastMail work excellently both on Mac computers and on the iPhone. All emails are synched, and can easily be organised using Apple Mail and iPhone. I am glad that Apple has not blocked them and is indirectly supporting them. The news that Opera is now joining with FastMail.fm is a match made in heaven for insiders or people who know both systems.
Opera Mini on the iPhone is very fast, because data is so cleverly compressed that websites can be opened well even over a less good mobile internet connection.
