Bunaken National Park and Lembeh Strait
With Jaka , a diving guide from BIDP , I flew from Denpasar (Bali) to north Sulwesi for a week, to visit Bunaken National Park and dive in the Lembeh Strait. We spent the night in the Hotel Sedona, where the Euro Divers diving school is also located. Bunaken National Park is OK, but I do not feel the need to visit it again. Unlike the dives in the Lembeh Strait! What weird animals I have seen here - unbelievable! Sadly much rubbish is thrown into the sea here, so that animals are even using an old shoe for shelter. This may look funny for an octopus, but is really rather "sub-optimal".
I continued cheaply and quickly with Lion Air from Denpasar (Bali) to Manado - Sulawesi.
