Postscript to my Tokyo stay in February ... Tokyo Midtown opens
Today, the Japanese megalopolis Tokyo opens the gates to the new quarter Tokyo Midtown with its elegant buildings. In the tallest skyscraper in Tokyo, the guests of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel will celebrate the opening of Tokyo Midtown. Companies such as Yahoo! Japan and Fujifilm, international schools and embassies have moved to the new area, which is set to become one of the most exclusive quarters in the city. On my next trip to Australia, I will certainly break the journey at Tokyo Midtown ;-)

Tokyo has also introduced a new electronic ticket - the Pasmo Card - for public transport. With this, the city has the largest integrated public transport system in the world. For me, the Tokyo train system is the first choice to reach my destination.
