Arrival on the Azores (Horta) without luggage
The journey with Tap Air Portugal from Frankfurt via Lisbon to Horta (Faial Island) on the Azoren was nice enough, after a short delay. Unfortunately, however, my luggage was forgotten in Lisbon, so I panicked in Horta airport thinking that my complete equipment might be lost. I wandered up and down like a classic HB-Männchen, until the claim was finally taken up by an airport worker. While writing up the claim, I was additionally provoked by their grin, because I pointed out my customer status - Business Class! I don't do that often, but my equipment is in fact the reason why I do fly business class. The high cost of the flight was no longer reasonable. In any case, I got my luggage delivared a day later by taxi to my hotel Espaço Talassa. But I had to pay for the taxi to bring my equipment myself! The cynicism of TAP Air Portugal is unbelievable.
