The weather has not really got better, but at least it is not raining any more. There was still no blue sky over the Brandenburger Tor though :-( The Federal Chancellery and the Reichstag were on my itinerary today... but I must confess that neither the Federal Chancellery nor the Reichstag, with its odd mirror dome, really convinced me. I just don't understand what the architect Norman Forster is trying to say to me as a viewer of his work !? Other buildings of his too, like the Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt, or the Swiss Re head office in London (called the "Gherkin" by Londoners), are beyond me. Lots of glass and even more glass... After about 2 hours I had had enough of the crowds in the buildings in any case, as well as the frozen melt (glass) everywhere :-)
