Erfurter Dom and Severikirche
Journey to Berlin via Erfurt
Yesterday I set off for Berlin, and made a short stop in Erfurt. After spending the night in the Best Western Hotel, I gave myself the treat of a little walk through Erfurt before travelling on to Berlin. Sadly the Erfurter Dom was covered with scaffolding :-( I liked the town, even though it was only a short visit. I would like to visit Erfurt again, together with the towns of Gotha, Eisenach (Wartburg) and Suhl - perhaps in Spring 2007 ...
