Iceland is hunting whales again

The rich country Iceland, like the even richer Norway, wants to hunt whales again - for food. The island state has been committed to the Moratorium (International Whaling Commission) which sets the quota for commercial whaling to zero since 1986. But ships have already been equipped for the coming hunt. I ask myself why countries like Iceland and Norway need to catch whales. The cynical argument that whales and dolphins endanger the fish stocks shows no respect at all for these unique creatures. The real danger for fish stocks and sea mammals is humans.
