Sodwana Bay Sun, sand and sea
With my impressions fresh from yesterday, today we went to Sodwana Bay to dive. Michelle and Laura from the Thanda Lodge organised everything, and accompanied me to Sodwana Bay. It takes about an hour from Thanda Lodge to Sodwana Bay, and the beaches are pretty empty in winter. It is not recommended to go there in the high season, as the beaches can get very full. It has the nickname "the diving factory" amongst the South Africans. I only made two dives with Laura and Michelle, as I was not very impressed by the place. I also had more interest in the Game Reserve since yesterday :-)
I photographed underwater with a Nikon D2X in a Seacam case and the wide angle lens Nikon 12-24m. I used two Inon flashes - Z-220S.
It was still a lovely day at Sodwana Bay, and I finished it off at Thanda Lodge with an open fire and excellent cuisine .
