Consolidation amongst the flash memory producers
The largest producer of flash memory products - Sandisk -, is taking over the Israeli company Msystems -. I already reported on the Lexar-takover by Micron Technology in March 2006.
The market for flash memory has enjoyed impressive growth for some time, so one should not only buy flash cards and USB sticks from companies like Micron Technology or Sandisk, but also their shares. The share price profits then provide new free more advanced flash cards :-)
