The flight with Emirates in Business Class to Dubai was once again a real experience, but unfortunately the flight is only 6 ours long :-) I heard the Russian language earlier than I had expected, as three Russian teenagers were having a bit of a party. Spassiba, Druschba, Nastrowie !

I found the drive from the airport to Jumeirah Beach Hotel very impressive, as Dubai has grown a lot with its new buildings since my last visit 2 years ago. Arriving in Jumeirah Beach Hotel was arriving in another world. A young, attractive Russian checked us in, of course. I had to wait a little for my room on the 25th floor, but could enjoy the view of the sea and the BURJ-AL-ARAB. Afterwards, I set up my temporary office in the hotel and took the first photos of the building.
