Travel and LOTS of excess baggage Airlines
On my travels I am regularly confronted with the question: how do I pay as little as possible for my excess baggage?
Economy Class is not to be recommended with a total of around 60 kg luggage, as one is officially only allowed 20 kilos. You can also only take one piece of hand luggage into the cabin. With three cameras and a laptop not really doable.
It makes sense to look for cheap Business Class flights. The most important advantages are: you can take 2 pieces of hand luggage into the plane, you are officially allowed 30 kg of luggage (with around 20 kg extra out of goodwill), and the seats are more comfortable on long haul flights. If you have enough miles, it is worth trying to get an upgrade from Economy to Business, or paying for the whole flight with miles.
If you don't have any miles left, or there are problems with an upgrade, towards Asia Royal Brunei and Kuwait Airways (check First Class) are recommended. To North or South America it is harder to make a recommendation, since the exact destination makes all the difference there.
