Orca in Tysford Fjord

Orca in Tysford Fjord

Poisonous Orcas

Orcas, also known as Killer Whales or Grampus, are contaminated in Norway with dangerous chemicals such as PCBs, pesticides and bromide fire retardants. Probes were taken from animals in the Tysford Fjord by the Norwegian coast. I find this news shocking, as it means that the poisonous toxins have already made it to the remotest parts of the world, like the Arctic :-( Most of my Orca photographs were taken in the Tysford Fjord.
